The Biography of Chief Christian Andrew Ihunwo
 
 

The Late chief Christian Ihunwo was born on the 16th october 1943 to the family of Ojiowhor & Mrs. Johnson E. Ihunwo of blessed memories of Rumuwele in rumuchiorlu community of Rumukwurusi all in Obia/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state.

Educational Background: Chiefs Christian Ihunwo obtained his first school leaving certificate from St. John's Primary School Rumuolwurusi, Port Harcourt in 1957. In 1958 he furthered his secondary education form enitonia high school where he spent just one year and concluded his secondary education in St. Pius's High Hchool Boddo, where he obtained his senior secondary school certificated in 1962.

Career: Chief Christian Ihunwo started his working career when he was invited to lagos by a dear brothr Eze Clinton Orianwo, whom he always addressed as a father. While in lagos he joined the Nigerian cutoms and was trained in customs training school Ikeja after a successful training he was posted to calabar where he served until the out break of the Nigerian Civil War in 1967.
After the Nigeria Civil War 1967 he was recalled to service by the Nigeria customs and was posted to port harcourt wharf, where he served as a preventive officer, he resigned after 5 years attaining the rank of a defective officer. After his resignation he was employed into metal & wood company by his uncle chief Princewill Ehoro JP, where he served as an administrative manager for serval years before he resignedd. Further maximising his entrepreneur ability, Chief Christian Ihunwo ventured into private business and life as a farmer, trader and a general contractor. He established Okagba Trading & Contracting company and Okogba farms Nigeria Limited a prominient poultry farm in Omagwa of Ikwere local government Area, which was recognized in Rivers State, Nigeria and the world at large. At the pick of his carrier he took ill and this ill heath was protracted until his demise.

Chife Christian Andrew Innwo is a devoted christian. he was born into Roman catholic Church. he grew up to be a strong member of St. John's Catholic Church Rumuokwurusi. he became a member of of Foundation faith church 1996 andGrace Vine Ministries in 1998.He was marreid to Mrs Victoria Ihunwo and Six children
