The Late chief Christian Ihunwo was born on the 16th october 1943 to the family of Ojiowhor & Mrs. Johnson E. Ihunwo of blessed memories of Rumuwele in rumuchiorlu community of Rumukwurusi all in Obia/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state. Educational Background: Chiefs Christian Ihunwo obtained his first school leaving certificate from St. John's Primary School Rumuolwurusi, Port Harcourt in 1957. In 1958 he furthered his secondary education form enitonia high school where he spent just one year and concluded his secondary education in St. Pius's High Hchool Boddo, where he obtained his senior secondary school certificated in 1962. Career: Chief Christian Ihunwo started his working career when he was invited to lagos by a dear brothr Eze Clinton Orianwo, whom he always addressed as a father. While in lagos he joined the Nigerian cutoms and was trained in customs training school Ikeja after a successful training he was posted to calabar where he served until the out break of the Nigerian Civil War in 1967. |
